Hi all! I figured it was about time for a quick update on crunchy happenings.

We are (and blessedly have been) back at farmers markets. As usual, we’ll be at the East Asheville Tailgate Market every Friday from 3-6 until November 22, and starting next week, we’ll be at the Weaverville Holiday Market every Wednesday from 3-6 (except Nov. 27). Yay!
Information about holiday orders and the 2024 Holiday Ordering Menu will be posted here and on social media next week. Stay tuned!
Classes are currently at a standstill until we have clean, potable water in the kitchen again. Currently, we’re using boiled and sanitized water for baking and washing, which works for our baking operations, but is difficult to maneuver for class safety. I’ll update you as soon as classes go live again.
Otherwise, we’re happy to have power, water (non potable, but dang I’ll take it), and Internet back on the homestead, as well as more businesses opening up again in town. Please keep donating and keeping us in your prayers as we rebuild in Asheville and the surrounding areas – we’re going, but we’ve still got a long road ahead of us in recovering both physical and economic damage caused by Helene.
That’s all for now. Until next time, happy homesteading, and be forever grateful for what you have.

Oh, and Happy Halloween!
