Hi all – I hope you have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!
I will not be at Friday’s market today (May 26), but I will be back next week for the East Asheville Tailgate Market, as well as the 2nd Annual Honey Festival at the Salvage Station on June 4. Woohoo! Come support some cool groups and vendors who want to keep the bees alive and happy.
As June is coming up next week, so are new classes. Our first Baking Basic Bread class last weekend was a blast, and I’m looking forward to doing it again, as well as two pastry classes (cinnamon rolls, etc.) in mid-June. Check out the In-Person Classes page for more info and tickets, and/or send me a message or email if you’ve got questions.
Oh, and if you missed it, I made the local paper, Mountain Xpress, with my classes. Huzzah! Check out the article and see what I’m doing from another point of view, and then get yourselves signed up. I’d love to see you in the kitchen!
Until then, happy baking, homesteading, and relaxing. Cheers!
